PureGraft™ draws on revolutionary lipodialysis technology to produce a pure and concentrated fat graft in about 15 minutes. The system uses a bilaminar flow filtration technology to ensure a consistent graft. Tissue is injected into the PureGraft™ System and is selectively filtered through the first membrane, removing loose blood cells, free lipids, fluid and other debris resulting from the liposuction process. The second membrane directs the flow of the debris and allows for the draining of the contaminants into the Waste Bag.
The tissue is washed twice with 150 mL of processing solution (Cytori’s Instructions For Use calls for Lactated Ringer’s Solution) to further purify the graft. This final step enables the physician to control the hydration of the graft for optimal results. After the washing and draining is complete, the concentrated graft tissue can be extracted for use in aesthetic body contouring.
For best results, Cytori recommends the use of Celbrush™ for delivery of PureGraft™-processed graft.
