Astellas Pharma Inc.: Strategic Equity Agreement
In December 2010, Cytori entered into a strategic equity agreement with Astellas Pharma to evaluate the potential of adipose derived stem and regenerative cells for the treatment of serious illnesses for which there is no fundamental treatment. In November 2005, the Olympus-Cytori Joint Venture was formed to develop, manufacture, and service the next generation Celution® One device.
